Movement changed my life. It can change yours, too.

Hi, I'm Cinzia
I've been practising Pilates for over 20 years, and I believe people can improve their quality of life through movement and exercise.
I say this from personal experience.
MY STORY
Many years ago, I tried pilates to find relief from a workplace injury. I was seeing an osteopath and a myotherapist for chronic pain, and it was my myotherapist who suggested I give pilates a go.
From that very first class, I felt something shift. Over time, with regular movement, my pain eased, and the change went well beyond the physical. My mental health improved. Inflammation reduced. And for the first time in a long time, I felt genuinely good about exercising.

"Research shows Pilates can significantly improve pain and function in people with chronic low back pain within just a few months of regular practice."
FINDINGS FROM A 2014 SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
Today, pilates is part of my daily life.
Whether I'm teaching, taking a virtual class, attending my own professional development, or training at my favourite studio, it's something I keep coming back to because I know what it can do.
Why I teach the way I do
I know what it's like to come to pilates in pain. To feel unsure of your body. To worry that you'll do the wrong thing and make it worse. And I know how much it matters to be taught by someone who's actually paying attention and who can see what your body needs and meet you there.
That's why our classes are deliberately small. It's why every program is built around the individual in front of me, not a generic template. And that's why we focus on progressive loading: real, lasting strength helps people stay capable, independent, and confident in their bodies for the long run.
THREE PRINCIPLES SHAPE EVERYTHING WE DO:
Individual
Every body is different, and your program reflects that.
Progressive
You should be getting stronger and more capable over time, not just maintaining.
Evidence-based
What we do is grounded in how the body actually works, not fitness trends.

Who we work with
Whether you're managing pain, returning to movement after injury, training alongside a sport, or simply wanting to feel stronger as you age, you're welcome here.
Our clients range from their early 20s to their late 70s. Some are complete beginners. Some are seasoned athletes using pilates as cross-training. What they have in common is that they want to move better, feel stronger, and understand what they're doing along the way.

Testimonials
Loving my classes with Cinz as it’s such a beautiful relaxed atmosphere the studio is immaculate and my body is feeling so much stronger, mobile and 100% more balanced.
Sandra
Best decision was taking up this class. Suffering from a worn out hip joint was very discouraging. But after a few sessions with Cinzia I felt that this was the right choice, being able to move better and gaining strength has given me new hope for a full recovery after a hip replacement later in the year.
